The awards ceremony honours people and organisations that promote human fraternity through work that has a real impact. This years theme was “Tapestry of Humanity”, with the Founders Memorial, Abu Dhabi as the venue.
The evenings event was broadcast live worldwide in multiple languages. The cross-cultural work of the honourees was reflected in an event with a diverse audience and performances. As well as the ceremony, a Majlis event with exhibition was created as well as a post-ceremony gala dinner.
The award ceremony honoured past honourees with line drawings and detailed exhibition panels. This emphasised the lasting global community created by the awards and the unity fostered by the honourees.
