Branding of a new residential development, close by to the site of the original Vimto factory on Chapel Street, Salford.

My idea was to create a fresh and vibrant identity to appeal to first time buyers whilst also playing on the historic visual identity of Vimto.

I liaised with the client, as well as Vimto, and sourced an array of imagery from which I created a visual language and identity to brand the sales and marketing suite and all collateral.

This annual festival, based in the heart of Abu Dhabi, commissioned by the Abu Dhabi Tourism & Culture Authority, is to commemorate and celebrate 250 years of UAE heritage and culture.

Working as part of the design team and alongside the British Museum, I produced a host of print collateral, wayfinding and signage throughout the festival site as well as 3 separate exhibition areas, using archive photography and historical documents. More than 150,000 visitors, including members of the UAE Royal family, flocked to the festival across its ten days to learn and participate in traditional bedouin arts and crafts, as well as discover the history and formation of the United Arab Emirates. 

Responsive website design for the long standing British Millerain textile manufacturer. The business has been trading for over a century and the website needed bringing in-line with modern trends and style, whilst still showcasing the rich heritage of the organisation. Striking photography was paired with online tools to give the user a sense of traditional and prestige whilst browsing through the online catalogue.

To promote the launch of the new LeapPad 3, I created this bright and engaging campaign to help bring to life all the possibilities at hand when a child uses the device, alongside all the technical aspects and benefits. The advertising campaign consisted of online and offline ads, point of sale, social media promotion as well as emails and website stockist takeover pages.

A visually identity was created to promote the seasonal gin festival that was taking place throughout the 800 John Barras pubs up and down the UK. 'Voyage of Discovery' was the chosen theme, and punters were encouraged to discover the differences between the gins on offer and to try out new and exciting combinations. Front of house and back of house promotional collateral was created, as well as a handy folding guide with details and tasting notes on each gin available. 

Branding for a unique handmade leather goods designer who creates wallets, purses, card holders, belts and accessories. All of their items are 100% handmade in their workshop using time-honoured leathercraft techniques and traditional hand tools.

Named and created 'Delegate' as the brand to help promote QMH Hotels meeting, event and conference packages. Once the identity was created every Holiday Inn, Crowne Plaza and Best Western hotel, within their ownership, needed promotional collateral creating, including brochures, DM's, email campaigns, as well as bespoke websites showcasing the hotel facilities as well as the individual town and city locations they were based in.

To bring in line a design style throughout the promoters events, we decided upon using a Swiss style to create a juxtaposition with the bands themselves and the immediate surrounding posters, to really highlight the event.

Branding for a brand new restaurant opening up in an old watermill building in West Yorkshire. The idea was to use the unique surroundings and history of the building within the brandmark and to create an identity that reflects the past use of the building as well as to reflect the interior design within the restaurant. As part of the branding, I used archive imagery of the town to really connect the restaurant with it's roots and heritage within the town. A full suite of printed collateral was created for the launch of the restaurant, as well as exterior signage. 

To commemorate the 70th year of the end of WWII, the Birmingham Hall of Memory website was relaunched with a fresher, easier to navigate user interface. The user can now seamlessly search online through every name featured in the Hall of Memory remembrance books, as well as finding out information on up and coming memorial events taking place throughout the city aswell as the history of the building. 

With the young Prince George spotted wearing Early Days shoes, the British, family-run, company decided they needed to refresh and relaunch their website to bring their brand into the modern age and be fully responsive. The site features an online catalogue, company history and links to stockists were the user can buy from the range.

We were approached by the North West Ambulance Service to create a campaign to raise awareness that calling 999 may not necessarily result in receiving an ambulance, but they will find the best care for each specific case. They wanted to promote the array of services they provide from the initial dispatchers, to the rapid response team, emergency ambulances to the helicopter rescue and hazardous area response team. 

Posters, DM's, a website and a 3 minute film were produced to be distributed in local schools and health centres in the area under the title 'There’s Much More To Your Ambulance Service'.

I have created many logos and idents for a variety of clients, from start-ups to established multinational companies, across diverse industries and for a range of audiences.

Event branding for a daytime and an evening conference for employees of the health insurance company, Vitality to showcase what the company has in store for the forthcoming year ahead.

The theme was 'Pushing the Boundaries' and encouraged employees to go above and beyond their normal calling.
The daytime branding involved a motion graphic that included chalk and paint exploding from behind the circle, with the typography pushing out of the circle also. The evening ident had to follow the same event title but this time the conference suite was decorated under the theme 'World of Wonder'. With this in mind, the visual identity I created had to differ from the corporate daytime visual identity and lean more towards celebrating Victorian invention and was slightly Steampunk in it's delivery.

I have created an array of restaurant and bar menus over the years, from high-end gourmet French cuisine to more family-friendly eateries. 

Prospectus guide for the Higher Education division of the Grimsby Institute. The guide was aiming at university students and so was very informative and copy heavy about the forthcoming student year. The guide showcased everything the students needed to know about the institute and also detailed each individual course available.

Concept design for cartridge company Eley Hawk. The site featured large, impactful imagery to showcase the brands rich and premier heritage, alongside highlighted products from their range, a history of the company interactive timeline and also Eley Ambassadors profiles. 

Prospectus design for the Oldham Sixth Form College, which consisted in created a brand for the 60 page guide.The prospectus informed students of all the courses available and also provided an insight into what the college fundamentals are. 3 individual covers were created, and each subject had it's own colourway and featured statements and testimonials from faculty leaders and former students. 

To coincide with Clarke Telecom's recent expansion they needed their online presence to be brought in-line with current market trends. I created a clean and corporate responsive site, to really highlight the services and expertise the company provide.

GE Fleet Services are a subsidiary of GE Capital and offer finance and support to fleet managers and company car owners. This toolbox website was created to sit within the GE brand and offers guides and tools to help managers and owners get the most out of their company cars, using an easily navigable user interface.

Numerous hotel and restaurant promotional collateral for clients including Chiquito, Frankie & Benny's, Garfunkels, as well as Holiday Inn, Crowne Plaza, Village Hotels and Thistle hotels. 

Concept site pitched for MacKnight smoked salmon farmers. The site was to polish their existing branding and create a higher end audience off the back of the new site launch, with detailed history and farming procedure pages, as well as downloadable recipe cards. 

Taking 52 local creatives and letting them loose on 104 pages of an A5 Moleskine sketchbook, the Manchester Moleskine project started life in 2016 as a way of collating the city's creative diversity, while also documenting the 'now'.

The simple premise has seen curators Jon Massey and Adam Stanway hand-deliver the book to designers, artists, sculptors, developers, illustrators and even musicians around Manchester, and invite them to doodle whatever they want across a double-page spread, giving them one week to do so before letting the book continue its journey.
